Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Vietnam! In Hanoi, after immigration and customs formalities, you’ll be met by your personal Guide and driver, then transfer to hotel (room is available upon your arrival for refreshment). Then, enjoy a tour of Vietnam’s capital by private vehicle, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and traditional stilt house, and the revered One-Pillar Pagoda.

Pay visits to typical Vietnamese places of worship, Tran Quoc Pagoda, along the shore of West Lake, tour Vietnam’s first university, the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature. Afternoon, your guide will take you on a tour of the city’s Old Quarter aboard bicycle rickshaws called cyclos (1hrs). You will be pedaled amongst the quaint French buildings along shoe Street, Silk Street and Banner Street (to name just a few). Overnight at Hotel

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

Today, you’ll be driven about 3hrs to famous and magnificent Ha Long Bay for 24hrs cruise. Spend the afternoon cruising through the 3,000 limestone pinnacles piercing the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s most incredible natural wonders and was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

– 12h30-13h00: Transfer to boat by tender
– 13h00-13h15: Welcome on boat enjoy welcome drink and follow Operation Manager briefing safety on boat as Image Ha Long Cruise heads to Hoa Cuong, Ngon Tay, Duoi Ca.
– 13h30-14h30 : Have lunch on boat
– 15h00-15h45: Transfer to small bamboo boat to visit Luon cave
– 15h45-17h00 : Visit Titov island
– 17h00-18h00: Back to the boat continues cruises to find safety place for overnight (near 587 islet or Luon cave). Free time on boat
– 18h00-19h00 : Happy hour ( buy two drink, get one free )
– 18h30 – 19h00 : Cooking Class
– 19h30 :  Have dinner on boat
– 21h30-23h00: Join squid fishing.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B, L)


– 06h15-06h45: Enjoy Tai Chi instruction on the Sundeck
– 07h00 : Have breakfast on boat
– 07h45-08h45 : Explorer Visit Surprise cave (about 60 minute by walk)
– 09h00-09h30 : Check out cabin
– 10h30 : Have lunch on boat
– 11h30: Back to Tuan Chau pier. Transfer by tender
– 12h00: You will meet your guide & driver, and transfer back to Hanoi.
– 16h30: Arrive in Hanoi and drop off at your hotel
– Evening, In the evening, enjoy a performance of the traditional Water Puppet show

Day 4:Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B, L)


Morning, driver to Ninh Binh, the area called “dry Ha Long on land:. On arrival, you will cycle or take vehicle to Trang An Eco-Tourism area. Trang An Eco-Tourism complex is a home of 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna that many of them in the Red book of Vietnam. It is also a gathering of 31 valleys, 48 cross-water caves and we will visit 3 to 6 of them. On the rowing boat, you can enjoy the fresh air, clean and clear water with under water grass. Experience ourselves the feeling and emotion when we are on the water caves….

After lunch at local house. You will then cycle on narrow path to Mua Cave cave where you will climb 450 stairs and enjoy a spectacular view of Land Halong Bay from the top. End of afternoon, just in time for you to cycle to Thai Vi temple and see the sun set in a unique natural landscape

Day 5: Ninh Binh sightseeing – Nam Dinh – Hue (B)


Morning, drive to Kenh Ga, a secluded floating village in Ninh Binh with a dramatic landscape of limestone cliffs and caves. Travel serenely through the village by motorboat and rowboat witnessing scenes of fishmen, children going to school and everyday life along the riverfront. End, if you would like to do a cycling, the cycling 12 km on dyke roads with excellent panoramic view of the village on one side and the soaring limestone mountains on the other (the cycling trip is easy to do)

Afternoon, visit Bai Dinh pagoda, this is a largest cultural site of south-east Asia : magnificent, gigantic with its over 100 tone golden Buddha, its 500 smaller ones, its 500 meters long alleys and its 500 tone bell. End of afternoon, transfer to Nam Dinh train station for overnight train SE1 (20:36-07:57 + 1) to Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam. Hue, the former capital of Vietnam (1802 -1945 under Nguyen Dynasty), is known as ‘the city of peace and poetry’

Day 6: Hue sightseeing (B)


Arrive at Hue station at 07h50, pick up by your guide and driver and transfer to hotel for refreshment and breakfast (room is available for early check-in). Then, visit the elaborate tombs of Emperor Tu Duc, founded between 1864-1867 by three thousands soldiers and workers. Afternoon, visit the majestic Imperial Citadel of Hue, and finish the day with a visit of Dong Ba market

Day 7: Hue – Thuy Bieu village (B, L)


Morning, leave Hue for transferring to pier, embark on boat for cruise along the poetic Perfume River and fill your heart and mind with fresh air. If water level is high enough, we will stop at Dong Ba Market to buy food ingredients for the cooking class later. The main destination of our journey is the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady Pagoda)-the symbol of Hue city.

Cruise toward Thuy Bieu Eco-village, an ancient village overlooking the most pristine part of Perfume River backed by Ngu Binh Mountain. Arrive in the village, you will join our cooking class to prepare Hue signature dishes with our chef & instruction, then enjoy your creations in the open air riverside restaurant surrounded by luxuriant trees.

The afternoon spent for biking around the laid-back, rustic and peaceful setting of Thuy Bieu village, passing several communal houses, ancient temples and especially the garden house – a typical and unique feature of Hue. After a day of walking, your foot will be cared by soaking in the medical herb water and excellent blind massage

Day 8: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)


Drive to Hoi An via scenic Hai Van Pass, where we enjoy the spectacular panorama of the central coastline from the summit. Stop at Lang Co to stretch your legs and enjoy the white sands of this peaceful beach. Upon arrival in Da Nang, visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountain. Continue by road to the ancient town of Hoi An. The rest of day is free for relaxing on Cua Dai beach

Day 9: Hoi An sightseeing (B)


Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. Enjoy a half-day cycling tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter. Highlights of your biking tour through cobblestone streets will include the Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. In the afternoon, take a cruise up the Thu Bon River to visit Thanh Ha pottery village.

Day 11: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon (B)


Transfer to Da Nang airport and you will board the (09:05-10:20) flight to Saigon, Vietnamese economic capital. Your guide will welcome you in Saigon’s airport and transfer you to your hotel. After lunch you will begin your exploration of Sai Gon including the War Remnant Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral and general Post Office, which was reportedly, designed Gustaf Eiffel. Walk amongst the frenzied merchants and buyers of Cho Lon market and visit Thien Hau Pagoda – one of the most celebrated Temples in Sai Gon

Day 12: Saigon – My Tho, Ben Tre – Can Tho (B, L)


Drive through the scenic Mekong Delta to My Tho and board a boat on Tien River to visit Islands including Dragon, Unicom, Tortoise and Phoenix. Enjoy the walking tour around the villages and float on a sampan through narrow, tree-lined canals. Continue to Tan Thach commune to visit a family-run enterprise making coconut candy. After lunch, continue the cycling tour on an Island nearby. Afternoon, transfer to Can Tho for overnight

Day 13: Can Tho – Cai Rang market – Saigon (B)


Wake up early in the morning to visit Cai Rang floating market – the most interesting part of trip, and then continue to visit some small channel and village around the area. Then, transfer back to hotel (the breakfast will be prepared on board while boat cruising to Cai Rang market). Then, Afternoon, drive back to Saigon via Sa Dec area where Mrs. Marguerite Duras has lived and wrote the famous romantic novel “Lover”. Return back to Saigon in the afternoon

Day 14: Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels – Tay Ninh temple – Saigon departure (B)


After breakfast, drive to the extraordinary Cu Chi tunnels, just outside Ho Chi Minh. During the war for independence, Viet Cong guerillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels virtually underneath U.S. bases, using them to hide during bombing raids and to stage surprise attacks. Then continue to visit Tay Ninh to visit Cao Dai Temple, the holy temple of Caodaism and attend its noon prayer before transfer back to Sai Gon. On arrival, transfer to Saigon airport for your international flight
