Day 01: Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Vietnam! In Hanoi, after immigration and customs formalities, you’ll be met by your personal Guide and driver, then transfer into the city. Afternoon, your guide will take you on a tour of the city’s Old Quarter aboard bicycle rickshaws called cyclos (1hrs). You will be pedaled amongst the quaint French buildings along shoe Street, Silk Street and Banner Street (to name just a few)

Day 02: Hanoi sightseeing (B)

Full-day tour of Vietnam’s capital by private vehicle, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and traditional stilt house, and the revered One-Pillar Pagoda. Pay visits to typical Vietnamese places of worship, Tran Quoc Pagoda, along the shore of West Lake. Just before noon, tour Vietnam’s first university, the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, we visit the Museum of Ethnology, featuring a wonderful collection of art and objects from throughout the country and different tribes. In the evening, enjoy a performance of the traditional Water Puppet show

Day 03: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

Today, you’ll be driven about 3hrs to famous and magnificent Ha Long Bay. Spend the afternoon cruising through the 3,000 limestone pinnacles piercing the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s most incredible natural wonders and was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
– 12.00-13.00: Arrive in Tuan Chau Wharf, and transfer by tender to the boat
– 13.00-15.30: Check in and enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise brief and safety instruction by crew member and Cruise Manager Start cruising. Enjoy set menu lunch while cruising to magnificent Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay, admire the fascinating formations on the way. You will have opportunity to see the famous such as: Perfume Rock, Fighting Cock, Lonely Rock, Saddle Rock…. before arrives to “Vung Viêng” village
– 15.30-17.30: Visit “Vung Viêng” village by a rustic – row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing.

– 17.30-19.30: Back to the boat and free time for relax

Day 04: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B, L)

– 07.45-08.45 : Explorer Visit Surprise cave (about 60 minute by walk)
– 09.00-09.30 : Check out cabin
– 10.30 : Have lunch on boat
– 11.30: Back to Tuan Chau pier. Transfer by tender to Pelican & Image café
– 12.00: You will be driven from Ha Long directly to Hanoi airport for your flight to Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival at Phu Bai airport, you will be transferred to hotel

Day 05: Hue sightseeing (B)

Visit the elaborate tombs of Emperor Tu Duc, founded between 1864-1867 by three thousands soldiers and workers; continue to visit the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. Afternoon, visit the majestic Imperial Citadel of Hue, the last vestige of Vietnam’s royal era. The tour includes: Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and the Forbidden Purple City or “Tu Cam Thanh”. And, finish the day with a visit of Dong Ba market

Day 06: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

Drive to Hoi An via scenic Hai Van Pass, where we enjoy the spectacular panorama of the central coastline from the summit. Stop at Lang Co to stretch your legs and enjoy the white sands of this peaceful beach. Continue by road to the ancient town of Hoi An.

Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. Enjoy a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Then, take a cruise up the Thu Bon River to visit Thanh Ha pottery village

Day 07: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon (B)

Transfer to Da Nang airport and you will board the flight to Saigon, Vietnamese economic capital. Your guide will welcome you in Saigon’s airport and transfer you to your hotel. Then, you will begin your exploration of Sai Gon including the War Remnant Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral and general Post Office, which was reportedly, designed Gustaf Eiffel. Walk amongst the frenzied merchants and buyers of Cho Lon market and visit Thien Hau Pagoda – one of the most celebrated Temples in Sai Gon. The most impressive features of the structure are the intricate friezes and the carved tableau towards the front of the pagoda. Another site can not be missed is Binh Tay market or “Cho Lon”, which can be roughly translated to “big market”

Day 08: Saigon – My Tho, Ben Tre – Saigon (B, L)

Drive through the scenic Mekong Delta to My Tho and board a boat on Tien River to visit Islands including Dragon, Unicom, Tortoise and Phoenix. Enjoy the walking tour around the villages and float on a sampan through narrow, tree-lined canals. Continue to Tan Thach commune to visit a family-run enterprise making coconut candy. After lunch at local house, continue the cycling tour on an Island nearby. Afternoon, you will return to Ho Chi Minh, stopping along the way to visit the beautiful Vinh Trang pagoda.

Day 09: Saigon departure (B)

Free time for shopping or exploring the city on your own, before transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight home.
